FIBER4YARDS redefines the shipbuilding industry with next-generation composite technologies
The JEC magazine talks about FIBRE4YARDS and how the project has shaped the European naval sector.
After 3 years of collaborative development, FIBRE4YARDS proudly announced its results at a closure event in December 2023. This collaborative project, dedicated to the use of fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP) in shipbuilding using Industry 4.0 concepts, involved 13 partners from 6 European countries. Focused on optimising production costs and introducing innovative digital technologies, it marked a major breakthrough for the European naval sector. You can read the full article here.
